Annie Roggero has one passion. … chocolate.   A master chocolatier for over 10 years, she has decided to offer to the public her fine chocolates featuring the latest in leaf transfer and design.

 

Annie’s shop of hand-crafted chocolate opened its doors to the public October 18, 2004 in Laval .   This charming little hide-away is a family business, comprising four generations, with skills being passed on from mother to daughter.   The scent of chocolate welcomes visitors, warms their spirit and puts a smile on their faces.  Now, a new store Washington D.C, USA.

 

Flavors:  Basilic strawberry, mango jasmine, pear ginger, apricot rosemary, etc.

 

To be found in Annie’s shop, is an assortment of products for every occasion: Corporate gifts, Christmas, St. Valentine’s, Halloween, birthdays, marriage, baptism, etc.  She can also design your company logo out of chocolate; welcome corporations!

 

Chocolate

 

The word cocoa undoubtedly is derived from the Aztec word cacahualt, which describes the pulp taken from the fruit of the cacahuaquahuitl tree.   The word chocolate comes from the word Mayan word tchocolatl or xoxolatl, drink of the Mayan gods.

How to Savor Chocolate

 

When tasting black chocolate, let it melt in your mouth for a few moments to release its preliminary flavor and aroma.  Then chew gently to release the secondary flavors.  Let it caress your palate to savor its complete range of flavors.
